Split 2 is where the League of Legends season starts to feel real. Early matches no longer feel like simple warmups. MSI qualification pressure, regional hierarchy, and momentum all begin to take shape here, and every result starts carrying more weight.

LCK: Korea’s Heavyweights Are Setting the Tone

In the LCK, Gen.G Esports, Dplus Kia, and Nongshim Red Force have all opened with undefeated 2–0 starts. It is still early, but in a region where stability often separates contenders from pretenders, that kind of start matters.

T1 remains one of the most important teams to watch. Even if they are not leading at this exact moment, their experience, star power, and championship credibility make them a constant threat as the split develops.

LEC: Familiar Names, Familiar Expectations

Karmine Corp and G2 Esports are both off to perfect starts in the LEC, with Fnatic still positioned closely behind. Europe once again looks competitive at the top, and while the early table is encouraging for the usual contenders, the order is still far from settled.

LTA: New Structure, Unpredictable Race

In the LTA North, FlyQuest has established an early edge, while the South is far less defined, with Leviatan, Pain Gaming, and Vivo Keyd Stars locked together at the top. That balance makes the region one of the more interesting stories of Split 2 so far.

WWLTP Quick Read

Split 2 already has the right ingredients for a strong global race: established contenders, emerging challengers, and just enough instability to keep every region relevant.

LPL and LCP: Contenders Everywhere

The LPL’s Ascend group is already crowded with notable names such as Invictus Gaming, JDG, Bilibili Gaming DreamSmart, and Top Esports. At the same time, the LCP remains one of the most intriguing international watchlists, especially for fans trying to spot the next team capable of breaking into the wider global conversation.
